Are you interested in craft and like to try new things, or just fancy a day out doing something with a friend or family member that will take your mind off every day life? Why not come and try your hand at bead-making in one of my workshops?
Glass bead-making workshops
The classes take place in my garden studio at my home in Guildford. It’s a quiet, relaxed environment with space for up to 3 people. You will learn new skills, and make something special that you have created yourself. Tea, coffee or cold drinks will be provided as part of the sessions.
This workshop is for the absolute beginner. It involves working at a flame, melting glass to create your own unique glass beads. You will be taught how to make a basic bead and then some further techniques for adding decorations, such as polkadots. Your beads will be annealed overnight, then cleaned and posted out to you for you to use however you like. You will make around 4 beads depending on their complexity.
Glass bead making workshops are not suitable for under 14 year olds.
I offer this workshop as a one-to-one 2 hour session for £80, or you can share a 3 hour session with a couple of friends or family members for £55 each. All materials and safety equipment are provided.
