This workshop is for the absolute beginner. It involves working at a flame, melting glass to create your own unique glass beads. The class takes place in my garden studio at my home in Guildford. It’s a cosy, quiet, relaxed environment with space for up to three people.
You will be taught how to handle the glass rods and make a basic bead and then move on to some further techniques for adding decorations, such as polkadots. Your beads will be fully annealed overnight, then cleaned and posted out to you for you to use however you like.
You will make a minimum of four beads using specific techniques and if there is time you go on to make more.
The class will last for 2 hours and can start at either 10am or 2pm.
Please note, due to software limitations, your online booking will be for 3 hours, this isn't correct and a one to one beginner lampwork class is only 2 hours.
